Let's Calendar's Zoom Integration 

This integration is aimed at automating and simplifying the following - 

  1. Automatically add new registrations from Zoom to Let's Calendar (no need to upload attendees anymore)
  2. Automatically pull the personalised "Login URL" for each registration, from Zoom (Webinars) to Let's Calendar
  3. Trigger and send mass calendar invite to all new registrations received from Zoom (new registrations will be pulled every 4 hours and calendar invite will be sent to them)


This is a simple step-by-step guide, you do not need any coding knowledge, and it will hardly take 5 mins to complete this process. 


Getting Started - Creating Zoom Oauth App used for this integration. 


Note: Zoom OAuth/API is NOT AVAILABLE in Zoom Basic Plan. So if you are on Zoom Basic Plan, you cannot use this feature as Zoom does not provide API Access to you. 


Step 1 - 

Login to Zoom Marketplace


Step 2 - 

Click on "Develop" in top right corner and select "Build Server to Server App" option




Step 3 - 


Give a friendly name (visible internally only to you) for e.g. Lets Calendar Integration and click on "Create"




Step 5 - 


On the App Credential's screen, copy the information you see under the fields Account ID, Client ID, Client Secret in a notepad or word document, as you need to enter these 3 in Let's Calendar once the Zoom App build is complete. 

Click Continue once you have copied this. 



Step 6 -

Basic Information - 


Enter details under fields like Short Description, Long Description, you can copy below details for quick reference -

Developer Contact Information - 


Enter your name and your email address under the name and email fields over here, this is required in case zoom want's to send you any important updates about this app/integration. 



Click Continue to proceed with next step. 


Step 7 - 


Add Feature Screen 


No action is required to be performed over here, simply leave everything as it is and click "Continue" 



Step 8 - 


Add Scopes 


On this set, you will grant required permissions to Let's Calendar to read your Zoom account and access all the new registrations so it can sync the same with Let's Calendar


Click on +Add Scopes button



Now in the pop up that has just now opened, click on Meetings, Webinars, and select all the options that appear on the right screen under these tabs and provide the required permissions. 



Click Done to close the pop up, and then Continue



Step 9 - 


Activate your App


That's it! You are almost done, 


Click on "Activate your App" and you should see a success message, should you see any errors, please click on the same to review the step it has occurred on, and refer to this guide to fix the same. 


You will now see a message that says "Your app is activated on the account"
