If you completed all the steps and still see error messages while trying to add your Gmail SMTP settings to Let's Calendar, please try to follow the below steps. 


Step 1 - Please ensure all the initial account checks are completed as detailed in this guide 

Step 2 - Sign into your Google Account, click on your profile icon on top right corner, and click on "Manage your Google Account" - https://myaccount.google.com/?utm_source=OGB&tab=kk&utm_medium=act

Step 3 - Click on "Security" section from left side menu - https://myaccount.google.com/security

Step 4 - Click on "Recent Security Activity" - https://myaccount.google.com/notifications?origin=3

Step 5 - Please check if google blocked any "Unrecognized" login attempts to your account and "Allow the Same" 




Step 6 - If you notice that Google has blocked any access like "Suspicious attempt to sign in from a less secure app" is showing in RED and as Blocked - please click on it and "Recognize" the same. 

Step 7 - Click on the unrecognized action

Step 8 - In the next window click on "Yes it was Me" 



Step 9 - Save settings

Step 10 - Repeat if you see other unrecognized attempts blocked by Google - Please ensure you are unblocking only those attempts which are of today's date (when you tried to link Let's Calendar to your Google Account). Do not unblock any other sign in attempts that may potentially compromise your account. 

Step 11 - Now back to Security tab, scroll down to "Signing in to Google" section and ensure the following - 

Step 12 - Use your Phone to Sign in - This setting is OFF

Step 13 - 2-Step Verification - This setting is OFF

Step 14 - Now back to Security tab, scroll down to "Less Secure App Access" and confirm that this setting is ON and displays a warning icon next to it. 

Step 15 - IMPORTANT STEP - visit https://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha and follow the steps on the page.

Step 16 - Under the page  Allow access to your Google account - Click on the "Continue Button" 


Step 17 - Wait for "Account Access Enabled" Message


Step 18 - All done, please attempt to link your SMTP with Let's Calendar - https://letscalendar.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/84000343144-part-2-gsuite-smtp-settings
